Omega
Funeral & Cremation Service is
a local, family-owned business dedicated to providing high-quality
service. We believe in respect and dignity, and will display
this with all of the families we serve. We specialize in listening
to the needs of our families, and helping them plan a personalized
service.
Omega
was founded in 1990 by husband and wife team, Erin and Kathy
Phelps. The Phelps saw a need to serve families in a dignified,
affordable way, during a stressful and difficult time. They
see their ability to serve people as the greatest advantage
to being a family owned and operated business. Erin and Kathy,
both native Oregonians, believe in their community. They support
local business and are involved in their community and church.
Erin
Phelps, a 1982 graduate of Mt. Hood Community College Funeral
Service Program and a Trained Certified Celebrant, is a member
of Friendship Lodge #160 AF & AM, member of Forest Grove Elks
Lodge #2440, Nob Hill Lions, Christina Court Amaranth.
He continues his education in the industry by attending various
conferences with the Mortuary Management group and is a member
of the funeral ethics committee. Honored in the past
with 19 other colleagues for being one of the top twenty volunteer
enucleators in Oregon for the 20th Anniversary of The Lions
Eye bank of Oregon. He believes in being a "worker bee"
and giving back to his community and industry.

Program in 1986. She is a life member of Friendship Chapter
